The All Terrain PMV Unit is special to the Australians. Unlocked by the Composite Armor technology in the Contemporary Era. It replaces the Armored Personnel Carrier.
History[]
The Australian armed forces are equipped with troop transportation vehicles that are specially designed for traveling across the large stretches of savannah that cover most of the continent. Produced since the end of the 1990s, these vehicles were designed as all-terrain trucks capable of transporting combat units over great distances. These outback vehicles are lightly armored and capable of withstanding mine detonations and explosives while still being light enough to perform all the actions required for missions in the Australian territory.
As such they are capable of transporting a team of nine people over more than 800 kilometers without refueling and at speeds of up to 100 km/h. These highly adaptable vehicles have been integrated into the Australian army and air force as transport, support, command, and assault vehicles. Certain firefighting squads are also equipped with civilian models of these vehicles.
