As your cities and your population has grown, Judaism has become more and more important. Teaching it well to the youth is an important issue that wise and erudite men try to solve afresh every generation. Some claim that a hermeneutic method called midrash would help the students to understand better Judaism and develop rigor and method. Others assure you that the kabbala, a holistic way to interpret the texts to understand the world's principles would better develop people's spirituality. What is your preference?
